Pennsylvania local tax withholding

Significant changes for 2012

Act 32 challenges Pennsylvania employers to quickly respond to what is perhaps the largest local income tax restructuring in decades. Some of the most significant steps required for compliance – effective January 1, 2012 – will fall on employers and they may not be able to rely on their payroll service or software provider. Topics to be covered include:

  • Current PA local withholding requirements
  • Changes in the Earned Income Tax Credit under PA Act 32
  • PA Act 32 employer transition planning
  • Please join us on Thursday, 22 September for a 60-minute discussion of the key local tax withholding changes taking place in Pennsylvania in 2012 and the significant implementation issues employers may face.
