In what is expected to be the biggest reform to Australia’s transfer pricing rules since their introduction, Exposure Draft law is expected any day now. The transfer pricing tax rules are expected to be transformed into a self-assessment regime, with new rules for transactions with non-treaty countries and contemporaneous documentation requirements, effective 1 July 2012.
