In conjunction with the PhRMA Accounting and Reporting subcommittee, Ernst & Young LLP is pleased to invite you to the second of two webcasts on IFRS conversion for the pharmaceutical industry. This session will provide an overview of the income tax implications of IFRS conversion. Moderated by Ken Marshall, Americas IFRS Markets Co-Leader, our panel of Ernst & Young LLP Assurance and Tax professionals includes:

The session will focus on tax aspects of the conversion and effects of the shift from US GAAP to IFRS on specific areas of tax, APB 23, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing and tax return accounting methods. Panelists will also discuss implications of conversion on tax strategy and planning, tax compliance and tax processes and systems. Throughout this webcast, we will provide you with important considerations on the role of the tax function in the conversion process and insights from our global conversion experience.
