Transforming Australia’s transfer pricing law and compliance - Exposure draft imminent!

Hosted by Ernst & Young, Australia

In what is expected to be the biggest reform to Australia’s transfer pricing rules since their introduction, Exposure Draft law is expected any day now. The transfer pricing tax rules are expected to be transformed into a self-assessment regime, with new rules for transactions with non-treaty countries and contemporaneous documentation requirements, effective 1 July 2012.

Please join our panelists on Tuesday 4 December to discuss the impact of this important development and the implications for your business and your processes for cross-border transactions. The webcast is designed for directors of tax, CFOs and transfer pricing specialists. You will have the opportunity to submit questions through the website and panelists will answer as many of them as time permits. In this 60 minute webcast the following topics will be discussed:

  • Background of the legislative reform - where are we now?
  • What are the practical implications for Australian taxpayers?
  • Why will the new law be so important for companies?
  • Action required
