Daniel Domenicucci is a member of Ernst & Young LLP's State and Local Tax Services in Detroit and currently serves as the local practice leader for indirect tax services and Business Incentives and Credits Services. Dan has assisted numerous clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, on a variety of tax matters.
Most recently, Dan's focus has been advising clients with site selection analyses and securing business incentives for proposed expansion plans. He has helped clients evaluate operating costs for changing businesses, forecast tax implications of capital and headcount expansions, and negotiate discretionary incentives agreements. He also serves as liaison for Michigan-based companies to the global Ernst & Young organization's global incentives advisory network, which provides incentives services around the world.
Dan has specific experience with a variety of economic development programs, including various employment tax credits, property tax abatements and exemptions, training grants, brownfield tax credits, tax increment financing programs, cash grant programs, tax-advantaged zone strategies, and federal tax incentives for investments.
Dan received a B.B.A. with emphases on accounting and finance from the University of Michigan. He is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Michigan. In addition, Dan is a member of The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Detroit Regional Chamber, the Detroit Regional Economic Partnership, and other civic organizations.
