Joseph Steger is the Global Technology Industry Leader for the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Steger has over 10 years of transaction support experience in the San Jose, Tokyo and Los Angeles offices of Ernst & Young.
In his current role, Mr. Steger advises transactions in software, networking and communications equipment, semiconductors and semiconductor equipment. Mr. Steger specializes in leading buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for large global public-to-public deals as well as small private company transactions in the technology industry. He has significant experience with software and other multiple-element revenue recognition issues.
Mr. Steger spent three years in Ernst & Young's Tokyo office where he directed transaction and audit services for multinational clients investing in or operating in Japan. During this time, he led a number of cross-border due diligence projects in Japan in the high technology, manufacturing, consumer products, and financial services industries. Prior to joining Transaction Advisory Services, Mr. Steger spent 14 years in Ernst & Young's audit practice.
Mr. Steger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. A Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs. |

John Clark, III is a Partner who leads the Provider Care sector for EY's North America Transaction Advisory Services practice. He has more than 13 years of experience, all in the health care industry. He joined EY in 2002. Prior to joining the TAS practice, Chip practiced in the health care audit and transaction practices of EY and another national accounting firm.
Chip has transaction experience in many sectors of the health care services industry, including general acute care hospitals, behavioral hospitals, specialty hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, long term care facilities, home nursing and infusion, hospice, radiation oncology and physician clinics, physician staffing and management, renal dialysis centers, patient transport, pharmacy benefits management, specialty pharmaceutical, institutional and retail pharmacy, laboratory, disease management, managed care (including Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D) and other health care related consulting and contract services.
Chip received a B.S. and MAcc from the University of Tennessee and is a member of the University of Tennessee Accounting Department Advisory Board. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Nashville Health Care Council and Nashville Leadership Health Care. |

Jeffrey Greene is the Global and Americas Transactions Leader for EY's Life Sciences Sector. His prior EY roles include Global Vice Chair-Corporate Finance, US National Director for Corporate Finance, US National Director for Valuation, and Americas Markets Leader for Divestitures. With more than 25 years of transaction experience, he supports global companies with their due diligence, tax integration, carve-out and valuation needs. Jeff provides strategic valuation advice in divestitures, acquisitions, financings and restructurings. He is a recognized expert witness in federal, district, bankruptcy and tax courts on valuation, fairness and solvency matters.
Jeff has spoken and written on portfolio management, valuation, solvency, due diligence and performance measurement. Among his recent articles: Inside a Carve-out: How Bristol-Myers Executed Three Divestitures, Optimizing the Corporate Portfolio in a Buyer's Market, Toward World-Class Divestitures, and The Valuation-Savvy Pharma Enterprise.
Jeff received an MBA from the Harvard Business School with a concentration in finance and international business, and a BA in physics from Dartmouth College, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He is on the Board of Trustees of Adelphi University and is a member of the Finance and Academic Affairs Committees, and past chair of the Audit Committee. Jeff is also a member of the editorial advisory board of Valuation Strategies, has participated on the faculty of National Investor Relations Institute and Practising Law Institute seminars, and moderated panels for BIO and the Conference Board. |
