What is a Webcast?
Webcasts are audio and/or video web events
broadcast LIVE and delivered right to your computer. All you need is a computer
and Internet access to see, hear and interact with our subject matter
specialists. There's no need to dial in on your telephone. Shortly after the
live broadcast, most webcasts are archived and can be viewed at your
convenience.
Thought Center Webcasts are a series of live and archived interactive
discussions that display Ernst & Young's point of view on key business
issues facing companies today. These webcasts provide new perspectives for
dealing with complex issues, which enable you to interact with Ernst &
Young, as well as industry panelists over the Internet. For no charge, you can
access live webcasts, which are generally 60-90 minutes in length. You can also
access the archived events for on-demand viewing or download some of them as
podcasts.
Thought Center Webcasts help to articulate our insights while giving you, our
key stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs and other executives), the ability to interact
with our firm's thought leaders via an Internet forum.
Thought Center Webcast viewers have given its programs rave reviews for years . . . and now its peers are adding their own praise. Ernst & Young Thought Center Webcasts recently received three 2007 Telly Awards.
The Telly Award is one of the most respected awards honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video, film, and corporate productions.
You can watch archives of both award-winning Webcasts. Off-Ramps and On-Ramps: Keeping Talented Women on the Road to Success was awarded a Bronze Telly and Responding to Allegations of Fraud: What Directors and Officers Need to Know received two Bronze Tellys in different categories.
